John Anthony Rosewag, Jr.

John Anthony Rosewag Jr., 40, of Frederick died Wednesday, February 11,2026, at his home. Born November 13, 1985 in Westminster, he was the son of Lisa Marie Wright (Steve Hamilton) and John Anthony Rosewag, Sr. (Caroline Rosewag). John was a foreman with Oak Hill Wood Services where he worked for over 15 years. He was passionate about his job and truly loved his boss and co-workers and considered them his extended family. John is known for his kind words, gentle spirit, loving soul, beautiful blue eyes and sly smile. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him and loved him, including his fur babies Jack and Bandit. In addition to his parents, John is survived by brother Brandon Rosewag, sister Carlie Rosewag, maternal grandparents Charles and Robin Wright, cousins Gary Rosewag, Jr. and Vince Marasa and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. John was preceded in death by paternal grandparents Melvin Rosewag Jr. and Maureen Rosewag and maternal grandmother Rosemarie Delabio. Memorial Services will be held at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD, at 5:00 pm on February 20, 2026 with Rev. Mary Ka Kanahan officiating. Interment will be private. Friends are welcome to call Friday one hour before the service at the funeral home.
