Philip “Phil” DiVenti, Jr., 64, of Woodbine, Maryland, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, at Union Memorial Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. Born on July 11, 1961, in Baltimore, Maryland, Phil lived a life defined by devotion to his family, pride in his work, and deep roots in the community he loved. He was the beloved husband of Catherine DiVenti and a proud and devoted father to Jessica Paraway (Renard), Heather Young (Scott), Stephanie DiVenti, and Kaitlyn DiVenti. Phil was a cherished “Pop-Pop” to Jordan, Jeremiah, Jackson, Kolten, Juliana, Raelyn, and Kynslee, who brought immeasurable joy to his life. He was the loving son of Carole DiVenti and the late Philip DiVenti, and a caring brother to Susan Loss and the late Thomas DiVenti. Phil was widely known and respected as the owner and operator of Phil’s Auto Repair Service in Eldersburg, where he built not only a successful business but lasting friendships with customers who trusted him for his honesty, skill, and generous spirit. Affectionately known as “Mr. Fix-It,” Phil was truly a jack of all trades, always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or repair just about anything. A graduate of Randallstown High School, Phil excelled in football and carried his competitive spirit and teamwork throughout his life. In his younger years, he shared his love of music as a talented drummer and guitar player in a local band. He also enjoyed drag racing his Chevy Camaro and attending concerts. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Phil was an avid fan of the Ravens and the Orioles and loved attending games in Baltimore. In his later years, his greatest happiness was found at home with his family—cheering on his grandchildren at their events, tending to his garden, spending time at the casino, vacationing in Ocean City, and fishing on his boat. Phil’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Funeral services will be held at Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home, 6028 Sykesville Road, Eldersburg, MD, at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. Interment will be private.
